The Women Empowerment project goal is to transform the lives of Zanzibar women through education, economic empowerment and entrepreneurship.

We provide training in tailoring, make-up and henna paint for special occasions. We also teach confidence and marketing strategies to be hired by clients or even to start their own business.

How Can You Help to Empower Zanzibar?

Our mission is to empower women, to create a world without poverty and hunger. You can help by volunteering and by donating to the continued need for supplies, staff, and everyday operational costs.

Daily Guidance

You will have a program coordinator at the program site to assist and guide you at all times.

Volunteer Activities

You will work alongside and under the leadership of our program staff . We will provide a schedule and activities, but we welcome new ideas as well.

The experience you will get from giving your time and care for others, will be like no other. Through every day activities and connections, you will make a huge difference in the lives of the women and children, as well as the entire community.

Highlights

Volunteer Role:

Volunteering your time and effort to our programs will support women through education and through your interactions and compassion.

You will also learn from a cross-cultural exchange, as you and your host community gain understanding and perspectives from each other.

Donate funds or supplies:
